Our Relationship with Creation: Repent or Die! Options for Productive Change Under Pressure. Have you met people who blame Christianity for ecological destruction? We’ll look at the criticism. Then we’ll take a look at some Biblical and historical antidotes. We’ll use Jesus’ cheery words in Luke 13:1-9 (Repent or you will perish, an unproductive fig tree given one more chance, under high-stakes pressure, to produce fruit), and move on to stuff that will help us avoid finding the nearest cliff to jump off of. All in about 40 minutes! --Shirley Doolittle-Egerdahl
